Great movie! I really liked it.

BTW - watched White Collar for the first time yesterday (got it from Netflix so it was the first 3 eps of S1). They hooked me with the first ep. Good show!

It was really interesting, and actually renewed my faith in Hollywood's ability to actually use their imagination.

Heh, you got hooked to WC faster than I did ;) It was actually a full season before I finally fell in love with it, but that tends to be the story of my life when it comes to shows. Even SGA took me a while to get into.

Just watching a trailer gave me a headache.
Have you seen Shutter Island???
That is another nauseating experience.

Oh, but Inception is so good! Yes, there are a few rather dizzying scenes but the rest of the movie is worth it.

I guess I ought to just get it from the library and see for myself eh??

Yes! Never judge a show or movie by the previews. I have been learning this the hard (but in a good) way.

I always check the first come first serve new release shelf and have found

Oh, and I finally saw Pan's Labrynth. Very powerful movie. It almost had me in tears at the end.

I knew you would like it.
I felt same in the end too.
People either really loved it or hated it. There did not seem to be a mid ground.
I sometimes wonder if it is their inability to handle fantasy??
I have never had that problem so cannot relate.

I think fantasy is one of those things where you're into it or not, you either get it or you don't. Then again, the same could be said about anything.

**nods***
some things more than others...........I think fantasy is in the realm
kind of by itself. I think the fact that mom and dear grandmother read
fairy tales etc. to me....and later to my sister also is part of it.
I could easily visualize.
I watch SciFi and have no difficulty looking at it in terms of acceptance
where some would say
'that is absolutely ridiculous'
AND they would be same who would read your
Jabberwocky and say
"Oh come on. Sheppard turns into a dragon?" COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I found it fascinating, e.g. the scene where he is in the Atlantis infirmary and suddenly morphs into the dragon slithering out of the infirmary and down the passageway.
Cool. Totally cool.
:-)
It is fiction but must EVERYTHING in life be based on fact???
