Movie Review - Legend of the Guardians

In which this movie proves why it is better that I listen to my gut and not people's nit-picky reviews. I got this movie yesterday and watched it twice in one day - enough said. Gorgeous to look at, loveable characters and, IMO, one of the better YA book adaptations since the Chronicles of Narnia.

And if you're and Owl City fan, I also highly recommend the song they did for this movie...

I love owls, so I bought it just for that and it looked good in the trailers. I haven't had time to watch it yet. Can't say I even saw what the critics were saying either, so I guess I'll find out when I watch it.

I wouldn't listen to critics or reviewers - way too much nit-picking these days and over stuff that I didn't think was an issue (like the pacing. Some said the movie moved too fast. I thought the pacing was excellent).
