OMG White Stuff!

We have snow! Honest to goodness snow! After weeks of the weather people threatening it, there's snow!

And many of you are wondering, "Why are you so happy? It's snow."

*pouts* Because everyone else was getting snow. We wanted snow, too. *pouts* And it's not like I go anywhere so I'm able to enjoy it :D (up until I have to go to the store, and I'm snowed in. Then maybe not so much).

More than that, though, snow means moisture, it means fewer bugs in summer, and it makes the cold a little more tolerable. I'm not a fan of winter but snow has a way of making it, well, a little more fun.

But I'm not looking forward to when it melts. That means mud, and our dogs loooooove to dig :P

I seem to remember you stating earlier that it was snowing everywhere but

We are expecting it beginning tomorrow evening followed by freezing rain

Kansas - more specifically the area where we lives - tends to be a bit of a black hole where weather is concerned. Every where else is getting blizzards, and we get the equivalent of early spring - cold and gray and dull.

Ugh, freezing rain :P Snow isn't a big deal but bring on the freezing rain and everything shuts down.

I don't think we've ever gotten the snow so deep we had to shovel it. Of course, that may change if the snow keeps coming :/

Ha! :) I'm glad I'm not the only snow lover out there. :) Everyone always acts like I'm crazy, but I enjoy the snow.

It's the only thing I like about winter. I can't stand the cold, but give me snow and, suddenly, winter's not so bad :D I've lived in quite a few places where it snowed and it was always a blast, playing outside or bundling up all warm and cozy inside. Good times :D
