Fic Archive

I changed my fic archive, setting it up on LJ instead. The reason I didn't do that before is because, when it comes to the long chapters and one-shots, I have to divide them up instead of posting them all at once, which is a pain. The last place I had the archive let me post all at once, but I wasn't happy with the way the formatting turned out (everything ran together, plus it was slow). So far, I have mostly one-shots posted. I plan to get all one-shots down, then move on to getting chapter stories up. I wanted someplace other than fanfiction to collect all my stories into one place in case something happens to FF.net. If it's something I posted on LJ then I simply created a link. Stories posted on FF.net are going to take a little longer to get up (especially if I have to divide up the chapters.)

LJ's really grown on me for story archiving, but I also have a wee bitty self-posting archive that I use for storage as much as anything cause no one really reads there. You're welcome to store your stories there, if you'd like. I dunno what all fandoms you'd need, but its easy enough to add news ones. You can set things for private or public viewing and so on... Anyway, there you go, peruse if you like.

Oh, spiffy.

What I would really like one of these days is a web-site. Not for posting fan-fic alone but also a place where I can pitch original works. However, I'm holding off until I have a few works published. In the meantime, I just needed a place where I can lump all my stories together what with them being so scattered. With the problems FF.net sometimes faces, I didn't want to place everything there.
