Some Whumping Fun

I'm compiling a list of rarely seen or done whumps. Not to say the whumps listed haven't been done, just not done often. Or, maybe even not done at all. Who knows?

I do not apologize if this list spawns ideas.

Hanging as a means of torture, not death. (Hung until choking, not until dead)

Pinched nerve in the spine or neck - ouch.

Wound to the calf - it's always to the thigh. Why never the calf?

Burst blood-vessel in the eye - not really whumpy but plenty creepy looking.

Giant leeches - I've read two fics that have done this. One of them by the lovely Baroqy.

More parasites! - Yes, it's been done. But, seriously, we can never have enough parasites.

Beaten with a chain instead of a whip - now that's getting violent, and dark. I did that in a story for a zine.

Strung up and left for dead - read a fic that did this, so room for lots more.

I've read fics where something happens to Sheppard and he's almost sent back to the SGC for tests. What if he was sent back to the SGC? And what if the one doing the testing wasn't too kind? Maybe, say, a secret operative for the Trust?

Poisoned - we can never have enough fics about being poisoned, or drugged. They're just so dang fun!

Trampled in a stampede or crowd - need I say more?

Mistreated by an incompetant doctor - I did such a fic and would love to see more stories deal with the same. With Carson being the one to throttle said doctor, of course. Just because he's not in season four doesn't mean we still can't have him in fic.

Runner - Darn those pesky wraith implants (provided by sholio)

Intentional Drowning - Those wacky natives and their crazy forms of worship/punishment (provided by katstale)

Strangulation - Getting that scrawny little neck wrung (provided by kristen999)

Trapped in a room or cave and there goes the oxygen.

Anyways, that's all I got. Anyone have any I could add? Remember, it's got to be something rarely done or yet to be done. Go nuts with the creativety, people. Let's see what you've got.

Um, I confess I haven't read a whole lot of fic lately, but how about intentional drowning? Something along the lines of the captors believing that the water will cleanse the evil/guilt/etc. from one's soul. Or as some sort of test or a way to force him to ascend, maybe. I've had a bunny dealing with the latter in my file for quite some time, but heaven only knows when I'll ever get to it. *sigh*

Or this been done to death already and I haven't read them?

Good one, actually. There have been stories where Shep drowns but never where he's being intentionally drowned by psycho native.
