Yeah, I'd better be careful, I might end up with a social life ;) Yesterday my family and I went to the symphony. Yeah, fancy;) Well, okay, not that fancy since you didn't have to dress all snazzy (but we did, anyway, kind of). It was a family Christmas event and quite a lot of fun. I adored their jazzy version of the Nutcracker and the Twelve Days of Christmas where each gift was a musical instrument. There was a sing-along part and for the finale a bit of Handel's Messiah where they had us hold up cell phones since we couldn't light candles ;)
And if that wasn't enough getting out and about, today the animal shelter had a party for the volunteers. There was food, games, conversation and photos of some of the animals that we could add captions to ICHC style. I almost didn't go because I wasn't feeling too well, but I'm glad I did. It was small, quiet and the food was great.
And on a totally different, seemingly completely random note, I'm in the market for a new PC video game since I played my whopping grand total of three games *rolls eyes* to the point that I now have them memorized. I'm in the market for either something horror (I've been considering Bioshock, for example) Something fantasy (been considering Skyrim as well) or something whimsical (Journey, which I can't get for PC), and I'd love some suggestions. Preferably something with awesome graphics, awesome settings and that involves more than simply running around and shooting things.

Amazing graphics, great gameplay, tons of additional content.
If you have the extra money get Bioshock as well. That is such a beautiful, engaging game, but it's a play it once type thing.

It was held annually in the auditorium and even though the following day always featured a lot of comments about how terrible some of the voices were..........I regret I did not participate
HOWEVER, I CANNOT stand Nutcracker. It annoys me
I love Russian composer music but not that one.
