So I just finished a bit of a TWD splurge (which I do not recommend doing with a very stressful zombie show) and am pretty much caught up except for the finale because the stupid DVR went and messed the recording up - so, please, no spoilers for the finale.

Not T-Dog! :S

Anyway... Lori. I did not see that coming. At all. Wow O.o I thought for sure that if anyone in the group was going to survive it would be Rick, Lori and Carl. And possibly Daryl because my brother and I are in agreement that to get rid of Daryl means to lose a large chunk of audience (my brother has become smitten with wanting to get a crossbow because of Daryl). I don't know if I'd keep watching the show if he died, or if the group would survive since, you know, he's kind of the chief exterminator (and of course it would be Daryl being all cute with the baby;)).

Although I'm really digging Michonne. Seriously, her and Daryl need to team up and just go around killing Walkers. They'd have the entire country cleared out in a month ;)

Kind of glad to see Rick starting to get it together a little. Thank goodness for phone calls from dead people... I guess.

Oh, Merl - die in a fire! Or better yet, by a walker. Crap, I am so not looking forward to the Daryl and Merl reunion. Unless it involves Daryl sticking it to Merl, then bring it on (no spoilers!)

I don't have much to say on the town since I'm still not quite sure what the heck is going on with these people, whether they're over-protective or a bunch of control freaks who think they know what's best. I get that the Governor is crazy but there's obviously more to it than that. I wonder if Andrea will rejoin with the group or take the Governor's side. (again, no spoilers!)

This is totally off subject but seeing your post made me think. Sheppard H/C Secret Santa was kind of short this year since so many of the old timers I love have moved on to other things and I get the impression that most are never going to look back. I miss your Sheppard stories so much. Is there any possibility you'll drop back into the fandom for another story or two or are you completely done with Sheppard and his team? I just want to know whether to keep the hope fires burning or let them go out.

*Winces* I don't know, but I'm mostly leaning toward probably not. I think I wrote so much SGA that I ended up getting burned out - which makes me sad because I loved being part of the fandom and writing fic for it, and I still love the show and its characters and miss them like crazy.

That said, however, there is the Sheppard amnesia fic I promised so many years ago. The thing is written, I just need to edit it and get it beta'd (and work up the motivation to do both). So there's a chance I may have one story yet to post.

While I am disappointed, I am not surprised. I hate it that so many have moved on. Those of us still deep in the fandom not only have no new episodes, but very, very few new fanfics worth reading. I guess I'll keep rereading the same ones over and over like I've been doing the past year. At least I might have one more to look forward to. That's something. I just can't get interested enough in another show to write for it. That special something the characters of SGA had compounded with the cool setting has left me spoiled. Nothing else on TV even comes close for me. Apparently that is just a me thing. Thanks for all the good stories I have to keep me company in the future.
