I am so bored! And not in the sense that I have nothing to do, but in the sense that the things I want to do I can't do just yet, and everything I can do - like writing - I'm a little burned out with and need to take a break from.

My brother and his family had been living with us for two years, now, down in our basement. A couple of months back they finally got a house, which they then had to renovate, then move into. They're currently in the process of moving their stuff out of our basement, which is kind of taking forever and making me kind of antsy.

You see, our basement (before my brother's family moved in) was also our craft room. As soon as their stuff is out of our basement then we plan on making it our craft room once again, with the addition of a table for myself so that I can do my sculpting. I also signed up to foster kittens, which I also can't do until the basement is cleaned up. And it almost is cleaned up, but my brother and his family are kind of taking their time with it. Probably for good reasons but I'm kind of getting to that point where I'm not feeling that sympathetic toward those reasons. I want our basement back. I want to go down and sculpt. I want space to set up a cage for kitten fostering. I know, I know, I'm kind of being selfish about it but, well... we're so close to having our basement back! I mean, they probably could have had it cleared out today but they haven't showed up yet. It's just.... gah! Just get your stuff, please! For the love of everything, get your stuff!

*Sigh*

By Monday, if their stuff still isn't moved out, I'm making room for the cage, anyway. I feel so bad about not being available to foster yet, even though I have a good reason. And not being able to do something because I have to wait for other people to do their thing, first, is a major pet peeve of mine. With so much I want to do, but need the basement to do it in and with it so close to being cleared out, it's getting harder to remain patient.

I just needed to vent about it.

(Just get your stuff, please!)

I have a sister that "leaves" stuff at Mom's and other places so she has a "right" to be there.

Huh. Heh, that's not something we tolerate at our house. It's either get your stuff as soon as you can or have it stored somewhere that's hard to get to (which often translates to "somewhere where you'll never be able to find it." Not on purpose, but that's what ends up happening).
