Alternatively titled - go-see-this-movie-it's-so-much-fun! It also managed to surprise me in two ways. 1: it's excellent balance of humor and kicking you right in the feels. 2: I went in expecting to be a fan of mostly Rocket but then ended up adoring everyone. Drax ended up being the biggest surprise. I thought for sure I wouldn't care for him but he turned out to be friggin hilarious. And the movie as a whole is chocked full of teamy goodness and crazy shinannigans. I'm already looking forward to the sequel :D

I will wait till it hits the new DVD shelf at library and put a hold on it
I just finished watching an amazing film:
The Book Thief
Her reaction when she was shown a library reminded me of
first time I had same experience as a kid. When the librarian told me I could take them home, I was
overwhelmed. Years later my grandmother still teased me about it.
I was 'Matilda' in reality save for the little red wagon she
used to haul her books home.

i concur! I also enjoyed the raccoon. and Zoe has always been a screen fav.

however, after surviving the 80's, and seeing that pants staining horror at the after credits scene? *shudder* no, thank you.

Heh, I know, right ;) I used to watch the movie all the time as a kid and I have no idea why (but then I had watched some pretty strange things as a kid).

Gah, I feel your pain! This is the first time in a long time we got to see a movie this soon. Normally we have to wait a week, and that means having to dodge spoilers like crazy (although it also means having a nearly empty theater and seats of our choosing).

Ooo, cool! I've been rather dubious over it, but I'm thinking now I'll have to get around to seeing it, here. ^^
