It is now officially canon - Q has cats.

And wasn't it said somewhere that this would be the last of the Craig Bonds? In which case *sobs* Because I want more! I absolutely adored the teaminess of this one with Bon, Moneypenny, Q and Malory. I want more team Bond, because they're awesome.

I must also mention the Bond homages. I'm not even that big a bond fan and I saw them everywhere. "Hellos Pussy." :D

It is also now a running joke with my mom and I that you're out of luck in a Bond film if A: your one of Bon'ds lovers (although... not really with this film, surprisingly) or B: a white Persian cat. I now want to right a fanfic in which Bond drops by Q's house and discovers one of Q's cats is a white Persian, and then much hemming and hawing occurs.

I love Daniel as Bond....Daniel and Timothy Dalton are nearest to what
Fleming describes in his books...not the flippant cheap throw away lines
of the others...
I was very sorry to see Dench no longer as "M"...I loved their chemistry..
I heard that Daniel is quitting also..perhaps he wants to move on....
I saw him first in Layer Cake and walked out of the theater thinking
"They are looking for a Bond..why not this guy?"
You can imagine how shocked I was later to hear he had been selected

I have seen Layer Cake and it was a rather weird experience since it was only a little while after I watched Skyfall. I kept thinking the LC character as "wussy Bond." Interesting movie, though.

(Also interesting that Ben Wishaw who plays Q was also in LC with Craig, and several other movies besides. It's always made me wonder if they're good friends in real life).

It's a shame he's hanging up his Bond Persona. I'd never really been into the franchise, since I felt most of his incarnations to be more silly than suave. Then came Craig's Bond. He will always be my Bond.

Craig want's out, he doesn't want to play Bond anymore. I guess it's up to TPTB to get him to stay on, they said they don't want to let him go. They also said he is the best Bond they have ever had and the other 4 guys that played Bond agree.

I was never really into the Bond movies until Craig's Bond. It'll be sad to see him go, although I am curious to see who they would get to play him next. I think those are going to be some big shoes to fill.

I'm hoping they talk him out of it. I don't know how long his contract was for?
