For Supernatural (no name and episode number because I didn't see the name, have no idea what the number is, and am too lazy and my internet too slow to find out). Basically, I'm just curious to know what others thought about tonight's episode.
It was actually the first episode I was rather bored with. Too focused on the British chick being annoying and less focused on the mystery. And definitely not as creepy as usual. The thing with Sam and the old lady was hilarious, though. British chick was annoying the crap out of me, but I like how she was handled in the end: pretty much put in her place and brought down a peg, making her just a tad more likeable for a moment. The writers really are doing a good job with her in my opinion. Most shows that have such a character always have her (or him) get away with everything, with one or two episodes where they have their comeuppance (and weak comeuppance they are) or no comeuppance at all. She does screw up, putting herself in more hot water than she can handle. And who does she turn to? The Winchester boys, keeping her from being above them despite her wealth and intelligence. For all her "you need me" attitude, she ended up needing them as well. Probably more than they needed her.
Anyways, the reason why I did this small review was because I felt this episode a little different from most episodes. It was good at the beginning and end, but all the banter and competing in the middle almost lost me. Not that it was bad, but I prefer it when the boys are knee-deep in research rather than having to back-bite with the competition.

And, yeah, I loved how they summoned the brother. I totally wasn't expecting that. I love it when a show does something unpredictable.
