Movie Review - I Am Legend

except to warn that you should probably bring tissues *sniffles.*

Awesome, awesome, awesome movie! Intense and, in a way, very darkly beautiful. Will Smith is such a superb actor and he did such a great job. Seriously. It takes a lot - and I mean a lot - for a movie to bring me to tears. Smith about had me bawling, sometimes with nothing more than the expression on his face.

I highly recommend this movie but, yeah, you'll definitely need tissues. Oh! Just thinking back to certain parts are making me misty eyed.

So it was good? My husband doesn't want to see it because his friends said they destroyed the orginal short story that it doesn't even resemble it and that the ending was totally ruined.

So I'm torn..I WANT to see it but read the short story and not sure if I'm ready to take the changes that were supposedly made.

I thought it was very awesome. But, then, I haven't read the short story.

It might be possible to separate the movie from the book it's based on (see the movie as its own version of the same idea) especially if enough changes have been made. I don't know.

I do highly recommend it, for Will Smith's acting if nothing else. He really did an awesome job.
