After hearing all the hooplah of Joe being on Women's Murder Club, I decided to watch the episode to see how he did. I really liked his character - smart, clever, but thankfully not a jerk (as is want to happen when it comes to FBI interacting with local police on TV shows: one or the other always ends up being the bad-guy or, at least, rather obnoxious... unless I'm interpreting Joe's character wrong.) And I actually like the show. I look forward to seeing him on more episodes.

Hee-hee! I noticed he had his hair somehwat slicked down enough to keep it from sticking up all over the place. That amused me to no end.

You have seen the two min video form Burbank when he talked about the make up ppl having to deal with his hair on WMC? its so funny.

I enjoyed it..nice little meaty guest role for him. He was indeed smart and pushed where he needed until she let him in one some of the case. Hmmm profiler..always had a soft spot for those.

Alas the stupid writer's strike will ruin anything else we would have seen. He can only film on hiatus....and SGA goes back to work in mid-Feb. Too bad according to fans of the books that WMC is based on, his character becomes a fairly regular guest and later on a romantic interest.

I didn't get to see it cause I was watching Lantis, but I recorded. I'm hoping his character is likable (and especially have fingers crossed that he doesn't turn out to be the serial killer or anything obnoxious like that.) I hoping to get a chance to watch it after work tonite. :D

Heh. I was thinking that too. Killer, romantic interest only to be married, romantic interest only to be killed off, and so on. Shows do like to mess with their viewers in that way.

I actually thought his character was a bit of a jerk, he was really pushy and aggressive toward Lindsay for most of the episode, from the reactions I've been reading online most people seem to think he is the "Kiss-Me-Not Killer" and I can see why - he was a little creepy at times. And why is he working alone? That seems odd. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the route they take but I would be a tad disappointed because it's so damned predictable. In the last five minutes he was far more likable, so maybe now he's got Lindsay to come on board again we'll see a different side to him.

Of course chances are we'll never see how it ends, no more episodes have been filmed and even if WMC does come back after the strike (which is unlikely seeing as it hasn't yet been picked up for a full season yet) Joe will be back working on Atlantis as of late-February so he won't be available for filming.

Yeah, I kind of thought him leaning toward "jerk" for a while, but I understood where he was coming from. WEll, I understood where both were coming from - Lindsay's been target so the killer needs to be caught, but the case pretty much screwed up her life so of course she wouldn't be involved again. Except she needed to be.

I was also thinking along the lines of him being the killer, probably because he comes out of no-where and we no little about him. That'll suck if that turns out to be the case - one being... it's Joe! The other, like you said, would be the predictability of it.

I can see the show going for the half-season deal and picking up next year. That would be the best way to go rather than push for a full season (and a lot of shows are doing that, anyways, and not just because of the strike.)
