Me like whumping Brendan

Okay all you Thoughtcrimes Brendan whumpers, I want to write me some Brendan whump, so I'm taking requests as I'm in need of plot ideas. Though I'm currently doing a fic for one of the Matter of the Mind Challenges (it involves home invasion) every time I try to think up something else for the other challenges, my brain goes straight to SGA. Sheppard! Let poor Brendan have a turn.

So, first three people to comment, toss me some ideas and I'll write them. Not try to write, will write, even if it ends up not being my best. And not single-worded prompts but something more detailed (Ex. ice - no. An ice-cicle hitting Brendan in the head - better. An ice-cicle hits Brendan in the head, making him disorient until he gets lost, and it's really cold out, and Freya has to find him - best.) Keep in mind, though, it may take me a while. With the original fic in the works, I've limited myself to writing fanfic one day a week should I get any ideas.

Even if you're not one of the first three to comment, toss in an idea anyways as I'll always be in need of them.

Figures, I have all sorts of ideas till someone asks... Isn't that just the way it works. *sigh*

Okay, this may be too convoluted to work with, but here ya go: Brendan receives a head injury or has some other sorta near death experience, and wakes up with some sorta extra 'gift' - not telepathy, but perhaps some sort of clairvoyance when he touches something or someone, or some sorta ability to see the future, or his memory ability gets amplified so much that memory seems more real than present ...and he's gotta figure out how to adapt so that he can function while trying to hide the situation from Harper and Welles, cause he doesn't want to become one of Michael's test subjects or get canned by Harper.

What do you think, any potential?

Hmmm... I like the idea of his memory getting amplified. Oh! That could include sensations, and he keeps recalling times he was hurt and so relives the pain. Yes, this has potential.

Oh, and of course, I'd also love to see more sick baby Brendan...but I've I don't have any more of story suggestion to go with that desire. :(

Sick Baby Brendan can fit in any story that involves a sick Brendan. So if you can come up with a sick adult Brendan idea, I can fit the sick baby Brendan in (can also involve a hurt Brendan, maybe with disorientation.)

I'm always looking for story ideas to use Baby Brendan in. In fact, I have the baby Brendan part of a story written, I just need something happening with adult Brendan.

How about this...Brendan gets aside to protect a diplomat and his family while they're visiting NY. The diplomat's child or grandchild is being, but its not obvious, and Brendan has to find a way to protect the kid while protecting the diplomat, all without causing an international incident or getting fired?

How about this: someone in the agency (either NSA or FBI, you can choose) had it in for Brendan and actively tried to sabotage cases, reports, etc. in an attempt to get him fired. He/she did an excellent job of covering his/her tracks, but was eventually caught and fired him/herself. Things have been quiet for months, but now the jealous/unstable former agent is back and bent on revenge. I'd like to leave the how/why/where up to you, but if you'd rather have suggestions I'd be happy to provide a few. :)

I like this idea. I can see Brendan's memory as the reason behind why he/she was fired.

How about Brendan's kidnapped, not because of his job, but because of who his parent/s are? The parent/s could be anyone important, politician, someone in the military. Anyway no one knew that Brendan was related to this person, because his last name has been changed to protect him. I don't have much more than that, other than the parent was in this position all through Brendan's childhood and was always overprotective. Plus this isn't the first time someone has either tried/or succeeded in kidnapping Brendan to get at this parent.

Another idea I had, which is similar to one already suggested, is that Brendan is hiding another gift, besides his fantastic memory. For some reason or another this gift is exposed, and Brendan is in targeted by a number of different groups who want to use this gift for their own agenda.

One more, and then I'll stop. This one is pretty cliche - bank robbery, hostages - Brendan whump!
