That's what I like about this community - plenty of prompts for the choosing with no deadlines. As much as I love Flashfic and other challenge communities (as there are days when I'm in desperate need of ideas I like), after a while, the deadlines kill me. I always end up with too many stories that need to be written, but the ones I want to write have to take a back seat to the stories that are due on a certain date.

"Got teh fic-athon that I'm trying to get in the mood to write when all I want is "Midway" tags!! And my poor alone, John is drugged fic."

Oy, I hate it when that happens. Write the Midway fic, I say. Maybe getting it out of your head will clear up your mind for the other fics. If not, it's still one fic out of your way.
