Intermission - Picture

A little pic of Stargalaxy's critter, Snacks, in her story Uncommon Alliance. He was just so cute I had to draw him. Hope I got him right. One of these days I'm going to do a picture of my critter Sherbet, but I wanted to do one with Sherbet sitting on top of Sheppard's head (he's small enough to do so without messing up the hair), but I'm always so uncomfortable drawing people. Don't know why.

Wow! I just thought I'll check your LJ site from the link you provided at ff in hopes of finding whether you had completed Snacks' portrait today and what do I find? An awesome, totally coolest representation of Snacks ever! Your representation of him is soooo incredibly accurate as that's exactly how I imagine him to be! His wings, his face, his colouring, everything is prefect down to the T! I love it and Snacks is bouncing up and down with joy-joy-joy!!! He's currently doing flip-loops and somersaults and flying all over the place with mad, mad excitement! You are one incredible artist! I toyed with the idea of a drawing of Snacks myself but have been too lazy to do it, and now I don't need to! So, thank you!! :D

I would love to see your representation of Sherbet as he certainly sounds sooo cute and his colours would be amazing. It would be awesome to be able to finally see what he looks like! What you could do is rather than draw Sheppard's face, just draw the close-up tufts (spikes) of his hair with Sherbet sitting on top of it! That way if you don't feel comfortable drawing people, you'll be able to get away with it with a cool representation of Sherbet! Now we need Sherbet! Sherbet! Sherbet!

I'd been trying to leave you a message all day Saturday, but stupid FF.net wouldn't let me. I was a little worried as I didn't think Snack's head looked very chipmunk like - more ferret like. He was actually very fun to draw. Glad you like it.

I think you did a great job. One thing that I preferred in a Chipmunk's face is its large beady eyes, which I think you captured well in this. I'm quite happy for it to have a ferret face as long as its eyes is cute and beady :D Oh by the way, I loved how you did the rocks too. Very cool :D

Awesomeness!!! I like his cute face, his button nose and his adorable eyes. Oh and his wings, that is just way too cool! Can I have one?
