I would like to thank everyone for helping me out in reclaiming a positive attitude. After thinking about it, I figured that a lot of little negative stuff that's been happening over the week simply added up and brought me down. It's been very one thing after another both this week and last week, but it's all finally starting to settle down.

It also helped that I got my dragon today from Midsummer Knight's Dream. I based it's coloring on a character in my original story (the one that will, hopefully, be released for sale soon) so that's pretty cool. And I've wanted one of the larger dragons since first seeing them over two years ago. They were too cool not to have, especially for a dragon nut like me :)

Oh sounds really cool! Would love to see it.

Have you ever seen Dragon Ware tea sets? Its one of the few things I still like to collect since I have a lot of Asain things at home.

These are n ot mine since I don 't have a camera, but the gray ones is the type I own.

Oh too cool! I love Asian dragons. Those are gorgeous.

I'm in need of a camera myself - a digital one. We have, like, a whole bag of film we've yet to get developed (going back years), because we're always forgetting to send them in to be developed. Either that or don't have the money (it's a looooot of film.)

Coming in late here - but I'm glad you're feeling less depressed! And also glad to hear that things are going a bit better. :)

It also helped that I got my dragon today.

So where did you get this dragon and where can I get a peek? I so love dragons! I picked up a poster signed by the artist that drew it some years ago: the piece was called St George was wrong and has a knight hugging a large red dragon that is crying. I have a few stuffed ones ( one that is meant to sit on your shoulder as a companion and hugs your neck) as well as more art.

It's from a Midsummer's Knight's Dream, who make these really cool fantasy puppets. Here's the link if you want to check it out.

They make these really cool fantasy puppets of various size. The dragon I got sits on your shoulder. I first saw them at a Ren fair and became obsessed with owning one ever since. The shoulder ones are pretty expensive - mine ended up costing $115 dollars (with shipping and handling, plus a saddle that helps keep them on your shoulder.) I could have waited until the last day of the Ren fair this fall, but I have no patience ;). Plus ever since I got my dragon, having it on my shoulder has actually helped me a lot with my neck problems.

One of these days I will take a picture of it and post it on here, but it takes us forever to get our film developed. My dragon looks pretty much like the dragons displaed at MSKD, only green.

Heh, half my wall in my room is occupied by dragon art. I really can never get enough of 'em :D

They probably made mine years ago, I think they came to I-Con on Long Island. Mine wraps around my neck and his head sits next to mine. Makes a great companion.
