And I will. Two chapters of my original fic and the start of the third chapter all in one week - woo-hoo! Before, I was lucky if I finished one chapter in a week. I've also reached the half-way point, yay!

But my SGA fic - my naughty, naughty SGA fic. So many ideas and not one will cooperate. I have four stories going that I intended to be short, are turning out long, and two of them I'm going to have to rewrite while one may not ever be completed. What's really driving me nuts, though, is that I can't get myself to stick with any of them. I either end up losing interest or figuring out a better way to write said story. And nothing I come up with will stay short. But, then, I've never been good at short stories and I think my brain has finally started to rebel :/ The muses want long and they want it now!

And so goes my further adventures in writing. Expect dark fic from me in the future, full of lots of Shep abuse or aftermath of abuse. I have been so, so, so cruel to him lately *shakes head sadly*.

I have lost all interest in writing - I cannot motivate myself to even think about it right now. :(

I have to ask, are you still thinking about writing a tag to No Distance Left To Run? Or has that been shelved now? I'd love you to do it but understand if you don't have the time or motivation.

Oh, man :( *Hugs* Want my muses? Seriously, take them, please! Not that it would help, all my ideas have become like road kill - smeared all over the place :P.

The tag to your story is still on my list of stories to write. I really want to write it, but can't settle on a plot. Right now the only part I have figured is the ending, but I keep shifting ideas for the rest of the story. So, I will write it eventually, but it may take a while.

:P You may be waiting a while. Right now my problem is that I can't stick with anything. I want to write short stuff, but the short stuff ends up long, then I lose interest. I've also been plagued by moods for particular kinds of stories - namely angst and darkfic - and between these moods and my lack of motivation, I've barely complated anything of what I've started, and some of it may end up being scrapped. It's very irritating.

I feel your pain I want to write short stories but I think my muse has really burned out, while my desire to write hasn't.

Glad you've been able to get more stuff done on your original fic, thats great progress.

As far as your WIPs..sometimes its best just to pick one and work on it until its done..but I understand your muse.

You just finished two massive fics. It's no wonder you're burned out! I always find myself mentally exhausted after finishing a major work.

I tried picking a fic to work on today and ended up finishing another that's been in my hardrive for a while :/. Oh well, at least I finished something :D
