Jan. 14th, 2011 02:23 pmI watched Point Blank last night. My, word, I love that episode. Neal is friggin' scary when emotionally charged: focused yet unstable, and gorgeous when broken. And the ending was twice the kick in the gut.

White Collar Comment-a-thon a go

Thecollarcorner, an all-gen comment-fic community. Since it's still under development, so to speak, and in need of members (and what with NaNo going on) the first round of comment fic will not begin until December. I could really use everyone's help (well, everyone into White Collar or who knows people into White Collar) to help me spread the word.
I could also use a mod or two to help me out if anyone is willing, especially anyone who knows how to specially format journal styles as I would really like the site to look more, well, White Collar focused. Just let me know if you'd be willing to help and I'll add you as a moderator.
And also let me know what you think about the guidelines for the comm, if they're clear or need more clarification or what have you. I have a welcome post up where you can pose questions or concerns if you have any.

White Collar Prompts
Nov. 9th, 2010 10:43 pmOkay, I need to stop complaining about the White Collar fandom. I went on over and checked out the Haven fandom and, wow. If you're not into het pairings or OT3 you are totally out of luck. I may have to cave and write that story about what it's like to be Nathan.
In the mean time, I'm in the mood to write me some White Collar fic but I can't seem to come up with anything I want to write (actually, I can't seem to come up with anything that will form a coherent story).
So, prompt me. One word, two words, a sentence. Lay on me your ideas! Just remember that I'm a gen writer only - as in no pairings and no OT3. And don't even think about prompting me with discipline fic. I'm also a Neal fan and though I do like Neal and Peter friendship, Neal remains my main boy. H/C ideas preferred but not a must.
ETA: Remember, not every single prompt presented will be written. It all comes down to what intrigues the muses, and my muses can get pretty fussy.
Also, if anyone sees a prompt they would like to write themselves, please feel free to, even if it's a prompt I end up choosing, since I doubt our stories will end up exactly the same.

This is probably stating the obvious for those of you who've been around the block when it comes to various fandoms, but I find it interesting, as well as frustrating, all the subtle little things that makes each fandom unique.
