The Completely Gen, Non-Kink Meme?

I've been thinking on and off about doing a challenge meme or comment fic based on all the kink challenges I keep hearing about, but making it entirely gen.

The challenge would be to write completely gen stories for prompts normally used to write pairing stories. For example, John and Rodney get married, or John is a slave and Rodney owns him, or bondage, or cuddling, or whatever. But there can't be any pairings, pre-pairings, or anything sexual. It has to be pure gen.

What do you all think? Does this sound like something you would be interested in participating in (and helping me out with, because I only have a basic idea of the kind of prompts that are used in kink memes)? I don't plan on doing this until after the holiday season and before the gen ficathon... if I remember to. Hope I remember to :S I may need some reminding.

What a great idea! If the Andorians are reading LJ fic, they surely have the impression that all we humans ever do is--um, well, yes. It's part of life, and it's wonderful, but, friends, it is only PART of life. Further, kinkiness in word, thought, or deed is not requisite to sophistication.

Count me in on your project if it's after New Year's.
