First off: Joe Flannigan really does look like a younger, skinnier, dark-haired version of Harrison Ford (Indiana Jones). That is just... all kinds of yum. (I had a crush on Indiana and Han Solo when I was five. I was a strange child.)

Second: I'd like to encourage everyone to make recommendations down at stargategenrec, because there's gotta be something out there I haven't read yet... uh, I mean... because you should. Yeah ;)

Third: It is time. I'm in need of a beta for the furture-fic/AU story that contains everything I hate, yet I loved writing it so much. Maybe two betas to get two perspectives on it.

It's in their expressions where they're similar - their crooked smiles and puppy-dog looks. It's not a similarity that's twenty-four seven, but sometimes Ford will get a look on his face that makes me think "Joe!" and Joe will get a look that makes me think "Harrison!" But it's all perspective. Some think Joe - on occasion - looks like Keanu Reeves, which I totally cannot see.

All I ever want out of a season is a good whump episode or two. Yes, they need more Conversion and Defiant One tags, and most especially somthing equal to or topping what happened in Thrityeight Minutes. I want some bloody/sick/broken/hurting shepa, dang it!

and it only makes it worse when I read:
Castles in the Sky - Sheppard is culled by a Wraith queen
and held as her pet for two months
Devil You Know - Sheppard is impaled to a hatch by flying
debris when a wraith dart hits Atlantis and the wraith in the
cockpit is NOT dead
Darkness Runs Deep - Sheppard is picked up and interrogated by,
forget who, and Ronon finds him just in the nick of time
and many more that just encourage my wanting more drama and a lot
less fluff in Sheppard centered stories in SGA...

They might be thinking of that due to
Keanu's role in SWAT where he is wearing tact gear that looks
quite a bit like when Sheppard is dressed in black instead
of the blue gear..
